The Army Cadet College (ACC) Wing at Indian Military Academy also known as the Siachen battalion now provides training to the soldier, airmen, and sailors from the regular army, navy, and air force for commission as officers in the Indian Army. The Army Cadet College (ACC) has released a notification to conduct an exam for recruitments in 2021. This exam is conducted to recruit soldiers and train them to become commissioned officers in the Army.

ACC exam is a prerequisite for soldier training course
One must have a minimum of 02 years of service.
Both married and unmarried soldiers can apply.
You can avail maximum 03 chances for ACC entry.

ACC Exam Vacancy 2021

The vacancies for ACC exam are released twice in a year. This year the number of vacancies released is 75. This is the vacancy per course.

ACC Exam Apply online 2021

Aspiring candidates have to apply online for the ACC exam. The exam is conducted in the form of a written test. These are the steps to apply online:

Step 2: Click on ‘Apply Online’ on the right side of the page.

Step 3: Fill in your details and check your eligibility

Step 4: If eligible, continue and fill the application form

Step 5: Pay the payment fee after filling all the details

ACC Exam Selection Process 2021

The Selection process consists of two stages. Stage 1 is the written test. Stage 2 is the SSB Interview and Medical test. The SSB interview is expected to take place in July/ August and December/ January. The selected candidates then get to join the Army Cadet College Wing in Dehradun for a 3 year course followed by one year pre-commission training at IMA, Dehradun

SSB Interview

The SSB Interview is conducted for 5 days straight. Candidates who clear the written test are called in for SSB Interview. Candidates are tested on different parameters in these 5 days.

ACC Exam – Exam Pattern 2021

The exam pattern consists of a written test of 4 papers. A candidate has to pass all three papers to appear for the interview. Each paper has 150 objective questions.

Paper 1: General Mental Ability

2 marks are awarded for every right answer.

Paper 2: Current General Awareness

This paper consists of the candidate's general awareness. This section also has 150 objective-type questions. These are the umbrella topics that are covered.

Paper 3: Interactive Communicative English

This paper is again divided into two papers. These two papers are based on Interactive and Communicative English.

ACC Exam Cut off 2021

As far as the cut off of the ACC exam is concerned, there is no cut off list released by the conducting body for the ACC exam. Only a merit list of selected candidates is released. In 2019, around 120 candidates got their name in the merit list.
