BIS Senior Assistant and Technician Exam Dates Out on 16th August 2022. The exam will be held on 3rd September 2022. This is with the reference to the Advt No:02/2022. Earlier, the board has released the vacancies for Scientist B. The total number of vacancies released for Scientist-B is 16 and for Graduate Engineers is 100. Previously, the BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) released a notification to recruit candidates for various Group A, B, and C posts.

Candidates can apply for the Scientist B recruitment from 6th August to 26th August 2022.
The vacancies are to be filled through Direct Recruitment/Deputation, depending upon the post.
The selection of applicants for various posts will be based on an Online Examination followed by an Interview/ Skill Test/ Trade Test, depending upon the post for which the candidate has applied.

Personal Assistant	Graduate Degree from a recognized University Computer Proficiency Test: The candidate should be proficient at least up to Level-6 of the National Skill Qualification Framework. The test shall be qualifying in nature Shorthand test in English or Hindi comprising dictation test at hundred words per minute for seven minutes which the candidates shall be required to transcribe in forty-five minutes (English dictation) and in sixty minutes (Hindi dictation)
Assistant Section Officer	Graduate Degree from a recognized University or equivalent Computer Proficiency Test: The candidate should be proficient at least up to Level-6 of the National Skill Qualification Framework. The test shall be qualifying in nature Qualifying Skill Test in Computer Proficiency
Assistant (Computer Aided Design)	Bachelor‘s Degree in Science Five years‘ experience in Auto CAD and working knowledge of typography; or Bachelor‘s Degree in Science with five years‘ experience in Auto CAD and draftsmanship in the relevant discipline; or Diploma in Engineering in Civil/ Mechanical/ Electrical with five years‘ experience in Auto CAD and draftsmanship in the relevant discipline.
Stenographer	Graduate from a recognized University Computer Proficiency Test: The candidate should be proficient at least up to Level 5 of National Skill Qualification Framework. Shorthand Test: English/Hindi Shorthand test at the speed of eighty words per minute which the candidates shall have to transcribe on
Senior Secretariat Assistant	Bachelor‘s Degree from a recognized University; and Qualifying Skill Test in Computer Proficiency consisting of: (a) Word Processing Test – 2000 Key Depressions in fifteen minutes; (b) Test in Spread Sheets on Microsoft Excel – fifteen minutes; and (c) Test in PowerPoint (Microsoft PowerPoint) – fifteen Minutes
Technical Assistant (Laboratory)	For Mechanical Discipline: Three years diploma in Mechanical with a minimum of sixty percent marks (fifty percent marks for the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes). For Chemical Discipline Bachelor’s Degree in Science (with Chemistry as one of the main subjects) with a minimum of sixty percent marks (fifty percent for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes) For Microbiology Discipline Bachelor’s Degree in Science (with Microbiology as one of the main subjects) with a minimum of sixty percent marks (fifty percent for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes)

Nationality criteria are the major aspect of applying for the examination. The candidate must be a citizen of India to get selected for BIS Recruitment.
