BITSAT 2022 - Check Notification, Important Dates!

BITSAT Session 1 Scorecard has been released on 12th July 2022. Earlier, the BITSAT 2022 2nd Session Registrations Opened on 4th July 2022. The candidates can apply till 20th July 2022. BITSAT (Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test) is a University Level Engineering Entrance exam that is conducted to offer admissions in a number of integrated undergraduate engineering programs to candidates. The exam is conducted by the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. Given it is considered one of the most important engineering entrance exams in the country, this exam is given priority by a number of students preparing for the B.E / B.Tech Degrees.

The Exam i.e. BITSAT helps the candidates with their selection in various BITS institutes.
When it comes to the application for BITSAT, the process will be conducted online.
The students who are willing to pursue their undergraduate degree with BITS must keep a check on the BITSAT Notification.
It is to be noted that the BITSAT Application process will be conducted online but the BITS Application fee can be paid both online as well as offline.
Before applying for the BITSAT 2022, the students are advised to check the eligibility criteria for the exam.
The BITSAT result shall be declared in two stages. Firstly just when you complete the exam, the result and the marks will be shared with the candidate.
The final result or the waiting list will then be shared at a later stage with a proper comparison with respect to the candidates who appeared for the exam along with the marks scored.

BITSAT Application Form

BITS Pilani has released the BITSAT Application form and the process of application lasted till the 20th July 2022. The application form will be available on the official website. You can follow the below steps to fill the application form.

Step 1: Go to the official website of BITS Pilani University and click on the Registration tab.

Step 2: Register yourself by filling in the required information.

Step 3: Now, proceed to fill in the application form and make sure to attach your recent photograph and signature. Try PrepForSure Resize Tool to upload the documents as per format.

Step 4: Make a payment of the application fee.

Step 5: After successful registration, you will receive the confirmation message on your email address.

BITSAT 2022 Application Fees

Candidates have to pay the application fees before submitting the application form. Payment can be made either online or offline. For online payment, candidates can use a debit card, credit card, or internet banking, and for offline payment, they have to generate a challan from the ICICI bank mentioned in the notification. The application fee is different for male and female candidates. Have a look at the table to know the fees.

BITSAT Slot Booking

After the successful filling of the BITSAT application form, the next crucial step is BITSAT Slot booking. In the slot booking process, the candidates have to choose the centers of their choice from Dubai or India.

Candidates have to give three preferences out of which they will be allotted one centre. Those candidates who select the Dubai centre will not have a choice of center preference, as they will be given the Dubai centre only.
After this, the candidates can proceed with slot booking for the test.
To book slot candidates need to have the required essentials such as application number, DOB, Email ID, Gender, Preferable test date, exam timing of your choice.

BITSAT Eligibility Criteria 2022

It is important to know about the BITSAT Eligibility Criteria before you apply for the BITSAT 2022 exam. The BITSAT Eligibility criteria for B.E and B.Pharma candidates are quite different.

Candidates should have passed 10+2/equivalent exams with subjects such as Physics, Maths, Chemistry, and English.
Candidates must have scored 75% marks in PCM or PCB. In individual subjects, the score must be 60%.
Those who have appeared for the 12th exam are eligible to apply.

BITSAT Exam Pattern 2022

The next step after filling the BITSAT Application form is knowing about the BITSAT Exam Pattern. BITSAT Result 2022

BITSAT scorecard is released. The BITSAT result is declared in two stages, the first scorecard is flashed after the end of the exam and the actual result is declared later with allotment details.

Step 1: Go to the official website of BITS Pilani.

Step 2: Now click on the result link.

Step 3: Put your application number and password and click on the submit button.

Step 4: The result will flash on the screen.

Step 5: Take a printout of the same for future reference.

BITSAT Counseling 2022

After the declaration of BITSAT results and cut-off marks, the counseling process will begin. The colleges will release the cut-off list for the admissions. There will be 5 or 6 rounds in the admission process. The college will announce the shortlisted candidates after each round.

Direct admissions will be given to the candidates who have topped in the respective State Board or Central Board. They do not have to apply separately.
