BSF Tradesman Selection Process 2021

The selection process for the esteemed post of Constable Tradesman of the Border Security Force recruitment 2021 shall be segregated into 2 categories. Phase I shall be a Written Exam while Phase II shall comprise of the given selection line-ups:

• Trade Test: The Trade Test will be for the job they selected at the time of the application process and the option they submitted in their form. Trade Test for each post shall take place by the selection Board for assessing the knowledge as well as the experience of the candidates in their respective technical fields/ trade applied by that candidate. Trade test will be qualifying in nature
• Written Test: The written test will be as follows:

Medical Examination: Candidates will have to qualify this stage in order to be qualified for the job. Any candidate deemed unqualified in this stage will be eliminated. 

Regarding tattoos present on various part of the body:

i) Content: Being a secular country, religious sentiments of people demand to be respected & therefore, tattoos representing religious symbols/figures with names, as takes place in India will be permitted.

(ii) Location: Tattoos present on traditional sites of the body like the inner part of the forearm or only the left forearm, called the dorsum of the hands are to be allowed.

(iii) Size: Size should definitely be less than 1/4 of the particular part (Elbow or Hand) of our body.

Candidates will be called in the order of merit and the candidates will be called in till the vacancy in their category has been filled.

• Review Medical Examination: The candidates who are declared Unfit in Detailed Medical Examination (DME) and not satisfied with the findings of the Initial Medical Examination, can submit their appeal within 15 days from the date of medical examination for appearing in Review Medical Examination.
• The appeal must be accompanied with a proof of his/her fitness certificate in the prescribed form with enclosing Demand Draft of Rs. 25/-, as a piece of 3 evidence about the possibility of an error of judgment in the decision of DME board, who had examined him/her in the first instance.
• If the appeal of the candidate is accepted by BSF Appellate Authority, his/her Review Medical Examination (RME) will be conducted thereafter. The candidate will be called on the date and time to be decided by BSF authority to appear before RME board. The decision of the RME board will be final.
• No appeal will be entertained against the findings of the Review Medical Examination.

BSF Tradesman Eligibility Criteria 2021

Before the submission of the application form, the candidates who are interested; should definitely fulfill the prescribed eligibility criteria from the section given below.

• Nationality: The applicant should be Indian.
• Gender: Male & Female; both types of candidates are eligible.
• Age Limit: 

Minimum Age: 18 Years

Maximum Age: 23 Years

Educational Qualification: The applicant interested in applying must have passed his class 10th. As the recruitment for Tradesmen & the candidates should surely contain one of the following diplomas.

• Work Experience of 2 years at a particular job.
• Or should definitely have the 1-year certificate course from the Industrial Training Institute (ITI) or definitely a two-year diploma from ITI.

Note 1: Those candidates who qualify in PET will be subject to biometric identification & screening of documents and then the chest (applicable to male candidates only) and weight measurement will be taken by the Board. The candidates who do not pass the laid down physical standards will be eliminated from the recruitment process. However, disqualification of candidates on grounds of weight will be done at the time of medical examination only.

Note 2: On re-employment of Ex-servicemen, the candidates will not have to give the PST and the PET and will only have to give the written examination, Medical Exam and Document Verification.

BSF Tradesman Salary

BSF Tradesman Cut-off Marks 2021
