BSSC CGL Mains Syllabus

The main BSSC CGL Recruitment exam is divided into 2 papers. Paper-1 will be a language paper consisting of 100 questions of Hindi language. Paper-2 will have 3 sections of 50 marks each. The BSSC CGL syllabus for paper-2 is similar to that of the preliminary exam.

The candidate applying to the post of Forest Range Officer will be called for the interview round. The interview will be conducted for 50 marks and the candidate will be asked questions related to their field, General Knowledge, and topics given in the mains exam syllabus.

The main exam paper 1 is a language paper conducted for a total of 400 marks. It will have 100 questions from the Hindi language. Candidates must score a minimum of 30% marks to be eligible for paper-2.
