CUET Normalization Marks 2023

Normalization is the process of converting values measured on different scales into a common scale. It is primarily used to assess the performance of all applicants using similar exam settings. Normalization is a method that has been used for years to compare the scores of candidates over multiple papers, and it is similar to methods used in India's other big educational selection tests. In order to ensure that candidates are neither disadvantaged nor benefited by the exam difficulty level, a "CUET Normalization procedure based on Percentile Score" will be used. Percentile scores are calculated as follows:

100 X Number of candidates in the 'Session' with a raw score equal to or lower than the candidate

Note:-

  • The raw score is the score that is obtained in the exam.
  • The marks obtained are transformed into a scale ranging from 100 to 0 for each session of examinees.
  • This Percentile of the Total cannot be an average or sum of the Percentiles of the Individuals. Percentile scores and percentages of marks earned are not the same.
  • To avoid the bunching effect and reduce ties, the Percentile Scores will be calculated up to seven decimal places.

Check the list of Best CUET Books in detail here!

CUET Test Practice Centres

  • The Common University Entrance Test is one of the biggest examinations happening in India. To crack the examination, the candidates must have rigorous practice. The Ministry of Human Resource Development tasked the NTA with setting up a network of Computer Based Test Practice Centres, primarily in remote and rural areas, so candidates could practice and be familiar with taking a CBT. The authorities have established a huge number of CUET Test Practics Centres. Candidates belonging to any part of the country can access these Test Centres. The authorities are providing these facilities free of cost.
  • The NTA website offers candidates access to convenient TPCs close to their location so they can practice on a given computer node. The experience of Computer-Based Testing (CBT) is made easier and more convenient with this. A computer experience is similar to the actual experience of taking a CBT.
  • These practice tests, offered at the CUET Test Practice Centres, are similar to the actual exam and will help you analyze your performance regularly.
