A. Age limit

The candidates who are wishing to apply for the examination must not be above 35 years.

• The age of the candidate should not exceed more than 55 Years as of 30th April 2021 after considering all the relaxation/concession in any given case.
• Candidates belonging to the reserved category will be benefited from certain age-related relaxations decided by the Government of India.

B. Education Qualification

The candidates should satisfy at least one of the below educational requirements for the particular paper.

• 4 years integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.

• Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 50% marks in the concerned subject/combination of subject and in aggregate.
• B.Ed or equivalent degree from a recognized University.
• Qualified in the State Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) or Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Paper-II, conducted by CBSE by the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose,
• Proficiency in teaching both Hindi and English medium

C. Nationality

• The candidate must be a citizen of India.
• A subject of Nepal, Bhutan.
• A Tibetian refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 intending to permanently settle in India.
• Migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam to permanently settle in India.
