• The application process for the FCI Junior Engineer 2022 started on 6th September 2022 and will end on 5th October 2022.
• The pay scale of Junior Engineer, both Civil and Electrical Mechanical Engineer will Rs. 34,000/- to Rs. 1,03,400/-.

FCI Junior Engineer Application Process 2022

The application process for the FCI Junior Engineer 2022 started on 6th September 2022. Candidates can apply for the application till 5th October 2022. Before starting the online application process for the advertised vacancies, candidates should keep scanned copies of their signatures and photograph ready. Step 1: Visit the official website and click on the option “Current Recruitment”. Then select the option “Category- III recruitment” and click on that.

Step 2: Choose your zone, and you will see an option “Apply Online”, click on that.

Step 4: You will be provided with the registration number and password. Save that for future reference.

FCI Junior Engineer Recruitment Application Fee 

• Ex-servicemen who are already recruited in Group C and D posts and serving on a regular basis will not be offered any concession with respect to the application fee and reservation under Ex-servicemen category. However, they will be offered relaxation in their age limits.
• Exemption of fee for SC, ST, Women, ex-servicemen (who are not already recruited) and Serving defence personnel.
• The application fee for other applicants shall be Rs.500, excluding banking charges.

• Reserved Category Certificate (in the format issued by FCI)
• No Objection Certificate (NOC) (who are already employed in any department of Government)

• The candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering/ Diploma in Civil Engineering from any of the recognized universities of India. Along with that, one year of work experience is necessary for diploma holders.

For the post of Junior Engineer Electrical Mechanical

• It is mandatory to have a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering. OR
• Candidates may have a diploma in either Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• For diploma holders, it is mandatory to have one-year work experience

Nationality

• Candidate can be an Indian Citizen/ Subject of Nepal or Bhutan
• A Tibetan refugee who has settled in India before 1st January 1962 
• Individuals of Indian origin who have migrated from select countries and are now settled permanently in India are also eligible to apply.

FCI Junior Engineer Exam Pattern for Online Exam 2022

The online exam is divided into two phases: Phase I and Phase II. Phase I is common for all the posts. The detailed exam patterns of both phase 1 and phase 2 are mentioned below.

Phase 1

• The questions asked in Phase 1 will be Objective Type
• The total number of questions asked in Phase 1 will be 100, and each question carries 1 mark. So the maximum marks for the Phase 1 paper shall be 100 marks.
• The total time duration will be 1 hour (60 minutes).
• All the questions will be Multiple Choice Questions.
• The marks scored in Phase 1 will not be calculated while making the final merit list.

Phase 2

Paper I

• The total number of questions asked in Paper 1 will be 120.
• The total time duration of Paper I will be 90 minutes.
• All the questions will be Multiple Choice Questions.
• For each correct answer candidates will get 1 mark.

Paper II

• In Paper 2, a total of 60 multiple choice questions will be asked on Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering to access the post-specific technical knowledge of the relevant stream. The time duration of the exam will be 60 minutes.

FCI Junior Engineer Exam Date 2022

This year, the official notification has not been released as of now, due to the Coronavirus pandemic. FCI Junior Engineer Admit Card 2022

FCI Junior Engineer Recruitment 2022 Call Letter is released on the official website of the corporation around 15 days prior to the exam date. Candidates must download the call letter from the official website of FCI as soon as it is released and take a printout for the examination day. Candidates shall receive a message on their registered mobile numbers and e-mail ID whenever the call letters will be posted on the website. Candidates can follow the steps mentioned below to download the call letter.

Step 1: Visit the FCI careers page.

Step 2: Under “Current Advertisement” click on “Category III Recruitment”.

Step 3: Now choose your zone and find the link that says “Download Call Letter”, click on that.

Step 4: Fill in all the details, including the Registration number and password. You will be navigated to the new page where you can see the call letter.

Step 5: Download it and paste the Passport size photograph on the printed copy of the call letter. The passport size photograph should be similar to the one that was uploaded while registering, and the same photograph shall be carried in the examination hall.

All the details pertaining to the exam, i.e. examination venue, date, timing, and guidelines are printed on the admit card. Candidates need to carry a printed copy of the call letter along with a valid government-issued ID on the examination day. Otherwise, candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination venue. 

FCI Junior Engineer Cut-Off 2022

Food Corporation of India officially releases the FCI Junior Engineer cut off on the official website only along with the final result. As such, there is no separate notification released for the cut off list issued by the corporation. However, candidates, thrice the number of available vacancies shall be called for the document verification process after the Phase 2 examination. The final merit list depends on a number of factors like, 

• The total number of applicants 
• The difficulty level of the examination
• Advertised vacancies
• Marks scored by other candidates

FCI Junior Engineer Answer Key 

FCI does not release any official answer key FCI Junior Engineer Recruitment 2022. It is to be noted that the result uploaded by the FCI is considered to be the final and no further queries shall be entertained whatsoever.
