GPSC DYSO Prelims Tentative Answer Key has been released on 17th October 2022 for the exam which was held on 16th October 2022. Applicants can challenge the answer key from 18th October to 28th October 2022. Gujarat Public Services Commission (GPSC) had released the GPSC DYSO recruitment notification 2022. 

  • Candidates had applied from 15th July 2022 to 30th July 2022.
  • A total of 80 vacancies were released to be filled under the recruitment process.
  • The basic salary package for a selected candidate is fixed at Rs. 38,090 for five years. According to 7th pay commission, and pay matrix level 7, the salary will range between Rs. 39900 and Rs. 126600.

GPSC DYSO Selection Process 2022

The candidates applying for the post of DYSO under GPSC had to clear two rounds which are, prelims, and mains to get selected. Once these two stages are final, a list of selected candidates is released by the commission.

  • Preliminary Examination: The prelims consisted of one paper on General Studies that was of 200 marks. The candidate needed to secure the minimum marks required as per the cut-off to qualify for the mains examination.
  • Mains Examination: The mains included four papers that are English language, Gujarati language, and General Studies I and II. Each paper is of 100 marks and candidates are required to score minimum marks required for getting selected.

GPSC DYSO Eligibility Criteria 2022

The candidates must check the GPSC DYSO eligibility criteria, such as the age limit and the educational qualifications before applying for the post. It helps to know whether the candidate is suitable for application or not. Here is the eligibility criteria to be met.

GPSC DYSO Educational Qualification

  • The candidate has to possess a bachelor’s degree in law irrespective of the university. But the university had to be incorporated in the Central or State Act in India.
  • The candidate had to have a basic knowledge of Computer Applications as mentioned in Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules 1967.
  • The candidate had to have a sound knowledge of Gujarati and/or Hindi.
  • A candidate who was still pursuing his/her final semester/year or was awaiting the result for the same can also apply for the post, but he/she had to qualify and submit the required qualification before the last date of submitting the application for mains examination as asked by the commission. Also, the candidate had to have achieved the minimum age limit on the last date of online application as per the last recruitment pattern.

GPSC DYSO Age Limit

The candidate had to be above 20 years of age but must not have completed the 36 years of age. Along with this range, the commission provided age relaxation candidates belonging to various categories. Any candidate not belonging to the specified age group was not permitted to apply for the GPSC DYSO post. GPSC DYSO Exam Pattern 2022 

The GPSC DYSO recruitment process is divided into 2 stages i.e Prelims, Mains. Prelims is a qualifying round, whereas mains marks will be included in the final selection. The Prelims exam will be an objective type exam that will consist of one paper, which will be of General Studies.
