4th February 2022: GPSC Administrative Services Mains Notification Out

The GPSC Administrative Services prelims result has been released and the successful candidate is required to apply for the mains exam. The required documents are also required to be uploaded. The same can be done between 10th to 24th February 2022.

GPSC Administrative Service Apply Online

The candidates  can apply for the Gujarat Administrative Services Exam between 25th August 2022 to 9th September 2022. The steps to apply online are:

Step 2.  Go to Online Application, and click on Apply.

Step 3. Click on Apply button against the advertisement for GPSC Administrative Services. Read the details and click on Apply Now.

Step 4. Click on New Registration. Enter the required details and complete the registration process to obtain your registration number.

Step 5. Login using your Registration Number, and proceed to fill the application form.

Step 7: Pay the application fee as per the category.

Step 8: Submit the application form. Take a printout of the same for future reference.

GPSC Administrative Service Application Fee

The candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs. 100 + relevant charges in order to apply. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/EWS/SEBC/PWD candidates are exempted from the payment of the application fee.

Gujarat Administrative Service Eligibility Criteria 2022

The interested candidates who satisfy the Gujarat Administrative Service eligibility criteria in terms of educational qualification, age limit, and nationality shall be able to apply online. The details on eligibility criteria are as follows:

A. Gujarat Administrative Service Age Limit

The candidate must be aged between 20 to 36 years of age as of 9th September 2022 in order to be eligible for the said posts. The relaxations in upper age limit shall be applicable for reserved category candidates is as follows

B. Gujarat Administrative Services Educational Qualification

The candidate must have a Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized University/ Institute to be eligible for the said posts.

C. Nationality

The candidate must fulfill  either of the following nationality conditions

• a citizen of India
• a subject of Nepal or Bhutan
• a Tibetan refugee migrated permanently in India on 1st January 19262
• a person of Indian origin from Pakistan, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malavi Polland, Ethiopia, or Vietnam

The scheme of examination for various stages of selection under the Gujarat Administrative Service exam are as follows:

A. Gujarat Administrative Service Prelims Exam Pattern

• The prelims exam shall consist of objective-type questions.
• The exam shall consist of two papers i.e. General Studies I and General Studies II.
• The duration of each paper shall be 180 mins.

B. Gujarat Administrative Service Mains Exam Pattern

• The mains exam shall consist of  descriptive papers.
• Each paper shall carry 150 marks and the duration for each of these papers shall be 3 hours.

The Gujarat Public Service Commission issues admit cards for its exams nearly a month before the exam date. The admit card will be made available on the internet. Candidates who have successfully completed the application process can obtain their admit cards from the GPSC's official website.
