Haryana Police Constable Apply Online 2023
The applications can be submitted on the official online portal of the HSSC. The candidates need not search for the application link on the website as the direct application is being provided further.
Step 1: Visit the official link provided above.
Step 2: Fill in basic details like personal information, qualification details, etc.
Step 3: Complete the application process by selecting the application fee payment mode (i.e. Net Banking and E-Challan) and requisite scanned documents.
Step 4: Submit the application form after rechecking all the submitted details.
Step 5: After applying online, registration No. and password will be generated. Take the print out of the screen for future reference.

The fee should be paid through internet banking or e-Challan in any branch of State Bank of India, Punjab National Bank, and IDBI Bank available on the payment site. The category-wise application fee is mentioned here.

Haryana Police Constable Eligibility Criteria 2023
The eligibility conditions for the Police Constable post have been defined on the grounds of age, educational qualification, and physical standards.
Age Limit
- The age limit shall be 18-25 years.
- For the candidates belonging to the SC, BC, EWS categories relaxation in the upper age limit of 5 years shall be given as per Govt. rules.
Education Qualification
- The candidate must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent
- Matric with Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects or higher education

Haryana Police Constable Selection Process 2023
Candidates equal to 7 times the total vacancies are expected to be called for the Physical Screening Test after clearing the first selection stage i.e. Knowledge Test. The screening test will be qualifying in nature. The qualified candidates will undergo a Physical Measurement Test. The candidates who clear all the selection stages shall be called for verification of documents and will be allotted marks as per the social status.
- Knowledge Test (CBT) – Board will conduct the written Computer Based Test as the first stage of the selection process. A written test of 100 marks will be conducted by the board. Clearing this test candidate will become eligible for the next round i.e PST/PET.
- Physical Screening Test – Shortlisted canddiates from the first stage will be called for the next stage i.e Phsycial Screening Test in which various tasks will be performed by the candidates.
- Physical Measurement Test – Candidates' Phsycial Standard like Height and Weight will be measured by the board in this round.
- Additional Weightage – This Additional Weightage round comprises a document verification process.
- Miscellaneous Weightage – This is the final stage in which extra marks shall be given to candidates who are belonging to Applicants who are widows, or belongs to the tribe (Vimukt Jatis and Tapriwas Jatis), etc.

Haryana Police Constable Exam Pattern
As stated above, the selection process for the Police Constable exam consists of CBT (Knowledge Test) and Physical Screening Test. The exam pattern for both of these important selection stages has been given below.
A. Exam
- The medium of examination shall be bilingual i.e. both in Hindi as well as in English (except where English Knowledge has to be tested).
- The exam will consist of objective-type questions only.
- There will be no negative marking for wrong answers.

B. Physical Screening Test
- The screening test will not carry any marks, it will be qualifying in nature.
- The candidates who qualify the standards prescribed for this test will undergo a Physical Measurement Test further.

C. Physical Measurement Test
The Physical Measurement Test is the test conducted by the board to take the physical measurements of the candidates which must be according to the standards set by the board. The baord will take measurement of the chest, height, etc of the candidates and if any candidates fail to meet the standard then he or she can't move further in the selection process. The Phsycial Standards are different for men and women candidates, check the Physical Eligibility Criteria mentioned above to know the detailed information about it.
D. Additional Weightage(10%)
This phase includes document verification such as educational certificates only of those candidates who have qualified for all the previous stages. This additional selection procedure will carry 10% of the marks for the final selection of the Haryana Police Constable post.
E. Miscellaneous Weightage(10%)
- Five (05) marks shall be given if neither the applicant nor any person among the applicant’s family belongs to the Haryana Government Police department.
- Five (05) marks shall be given, if the applicant is:- (i) a widow; or (ii) the first or the second child and his father had died before attaining the age of 42 years: or (iii) the first or the second child and his father had died before the applicant had attained the age of 15 years,”.
- Five (05) marks will be given, if the applicant belongs to the tribe (Vimukt Jatis and Tapriwas Jatis) or the Nomadic tribe of Haryana which is neither a Scheduled Caste nor a Backward Class.
- Maximum of eight(08) marks have been kept for experience as an adhoc or contract employee. One-half (=0.5) mark for each year on the same or a higher post in any Department, Board, Corporation, Company, Statutory Body, Commission, Authority of Government of Haryana. No marks will be awarded for any period less than six months:
- The claim of reservation benefit and/or relaxation if any, and shall provide relevant certificates for the above.

- Scanned Copy of Caste Certificate (SC, ST, OBC, etc)
