4th November 2022: HP TET New Notification Out (November Cycle)!

The candidates must note that the application process of HP TET November Cycle will begin on 5th November 2022 and end on 22nd November 2022. The exam dates have also been announced along with the short notification. The exam will be held on 10th, 11th, 18th and 25th December 2022. Check out the official notification attached above.

1st September 2022: HP TET Provisional Answer Key Out (June Cycle)!

The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education has released the provisional answer key for the exams that were held on 24th July, 31st July, 7th August, and 13th August 2022. The answer key is released for Arts, Punjabi, Medical, L.T, Shastri, D.El.Ed, and Non-Medical subjects. Candidates can also raise objects for any issue regarding the answer key till 5th September 2022. HPTET Eligibility 2022

Candidates applying for the HP TET recruitment must fulfil the following criteria mentioned to be eligible for the posts released under HP TET.

TGT (Arts)

a) BA./B.Com. with at least 50% marks and 1 year B.Ed. OR
b) B.A./B.Com. with  at  least  45%  marks(Only for those who have passed B.Ed up to 30.08.2009) and 50% marks (for those who have passed B.Ed. after 30.08.2009) 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) in accordance with NCTE (Recognition norms and Procedure) regulations issued from time to time in this regard .
OR
c) Senior Secondary (or it's equivalent) with  at least  50% marks  and 4  years Bachelor in Elementary & Education (B.El.Ed.)
OR
d) Senior Secondary (or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and 4 years B.A.Ed.
OR
e) B.A./B.Com. with  at least  50% marks and  1 year  Bachelor in  Education (B.Ed .) (Special Education).

TGT(Non-Medical)

a)  B.Sc.(NM) with at least 50% marks and 1 year Bachelor in Education(B.Ed.) OR
"b) B.Sc.(NM) with at least 45% marks (only for those who have passed B.Ed. up to 30.08.2009) and 50% marks (for those who have passed B.Ed. after 30.08.2009) 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) in accordance with NCTE(Recognition norms and Procedure) regulations issued from time to time in this regard
OR

b) B.Sc.(Medical) with at least 45% marks  (only for those who have passed  B.Ed. 30.08.2009) and 50% marks  (for those who have passed B.Ed. after 30.08.2009 ) 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) in accordance with NCTE(Recognition norms and Procedure) regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
OR

Shastri

Shastri with at least 50% marks from an institution/University recognition by HP Government.

Language Teacher

a) B.A. with Hindi a elective subject and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whichever name known)
OR
b) BA with at least 50% marks with Hindi as an elective subject and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)
OR
c) BA with at least 45% marks with Hindi as an elective subject and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) in accordance with the NCTE(Recognition Norms & Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
OR
d)  BA with at least 50% marks with Hindi as an elective subject and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) Special Education
OR
e.) Prabhakar (Hons. in Hindi) with 50% marks followed by BA Examination (English and one additional subject) with 50% marks from recognized University and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)
f.) M.A in Hindi with at least 50% marks from a recognized University and 1 year in Bachelor in Education (B.Ed)

Junior Basic Training (JBT)

a) 10+2 with 50% marks from a recognized Board/University and should possess two years JBT certificate course from an institute duly recognized by the Central Stale Govt.
OR
b) Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and two years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
OR
c) Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and two years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name  known), in accordance with the NCTF (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations 2002.
OR
d) Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with al least 50% marks and 4·years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
OR
e) Senior Secondary (or  its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2years Diploma in Elementary  Education (Special Education)
OR
f)  Graduation and  2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

Punjabi Language Teacher

a) B.A with Punjabi as an elective subject and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
OR
b)  BA with at least 50% marks with Punjabi as an elective subject and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)
OR
c) B.A with at least 45% marks with Punjabi as an elective subject and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms & Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
OR
d) BA with al least 50% marks with Punjabi as an elective subject and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) Special Education
OR
e) Giani with 50% marks followed by B.A. Examination (English and one additional subject) with 50% marks from recognized University and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)
OR
f) M.A.(Punjabi) with at least 50% marks from a recognized University and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)

Urdu Language Teacher

a) B.A. with Urdu as an elective subject and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
OR
b) BA with at least 50% marks with Urdu as an elective subject and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)
OR
c) BA with at least 45% marks with Urdu as an elective subject and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms & Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
OR
d) BA with at least 50% marks with Urdu as an elective subject and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) Special Education.
OR
e) B.T. with 50% marks followed by B.A. Examination (English & one additional subject with 50% marks from a recognized University and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)
OR
I) M.A.(Urdu) with at least 50% marks from a recognized University and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)
Note:-1.
(a) Adeeb-Kamil from Jamia Urdu Aligarh will be considered/ equivalent to B.A with Urdu.
(b) Moallim-e Urdu from Jamia Urdu Aligarh will be considered/ equivalent to B.Ed. for teaching Urdu.
AND
Note: -ll Pass in Urdu Language Teacher Eligibility Test conducted by HP. Board of School Education Dharamshala provided that the incumbents who have already qualified the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by the H.P. Board of School Education Dharmshala shall also be eligible subject to the condition as laid in para-II of guidelines issued by the National Council for Teacher Education vide Notification No. 76- 4/2010/NCTE/Acad. Dated 11.2.2011.

Note: Relaxation up to 5% in minimum educational qualification and qualifying marks is given to candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PHH categories of Himachal Pradesh.

HP TET Apply Online 2022

The candidates must submit their applications online from 5th November to 22nd November 2022. The steps to apply online are given below or candidates can also directly apply online from the link given below:

Step 1: Visit the website of HPBOSE. 

Step 2: Select the post you wish to apply for and fill up the HP TET application form.

Step 3: Upload relevant documents as per the guidelines mentioned. The candidates can mention the PrepForSure Resize Tool for this purpose.

Step 4: Pay the fee and take a print of the application form for future reference.

Step 5: Alternatively you can access the HP BOSE official website.

Step 6: Click on the “Recruitment exams tab” and follow steps 2 to 5.

HP TET Application Fee 2022

The application fee is different as per the categories. Candidates can pay the fee via net banking, debit card, or credit card before the said date. Service tax and charge if applicable by the bank will be charged accordingly. Read below to know more about the HPTET application fee for the 2022 exam:

• General and their sub-categories: Rs.800
• OBC/SC/ST/PHH: Rs.500

HP TET Selection Process 2022

Candidates eligible for the recruitment will have to give the offline written test and have to score at least 60% marks to qualify. HPBOSE has announced the HPTET result on the official website with the list of candidates who have qualified the examination. The qualified students will be awarded the HPTET certificates based on which they can apply for the Teachers post in various schools across the state. There are no restrictions on the number of attempts. A candidate who has already qualified TET may also appear again to improve his/her score.

HP TET Exam Pattern 

The HP TET Exam Pattern for the various posts differs as the subjects are different. Though the overall exam pattern is common, only the specialization subjects change as per the post.

• The exam will have 150 multiple choice questions that have to be solved in 2.5 hours.
• The HPTET is conducted offline and the answers have to be filled in the OMR-based answer sheet.
• Each question carries 1 mark and there is no negative marking for the wrong answer.
• Candidates have to score a minimum of 60% marks to move ahead in the selection process.

HP TET Admit Card 

The HP TET admit card has been released on 7th December 2022. The steps to download the Admit Card are mentioned below:

Step 1: Visit the HPBOSE website. Under the recruitments tab, click the link to download the HP TET Admit Card..

Step 2: Fill in your log in details and click submit.

Step 3: Your admit card will appear on the screen, download it.

Step 4: Take prints for future stages of recruitment.

HP TET Answer Key 2022

The HPBOSE has released the HP TET Answer Key for each subject separately on 1st September 2022 for June Cycle. The answer key can be used by the candidates to estimate their exam scores. How to Prepare for the HPTET Exam 2022?

To prepare for the HP TET exam, the candidates need to begin their preparation well in advance. The preparation tips given in this section will be helpful for you to prepare for the exam.

A. Knowledge of complete syllabus first
