Candidates applying for the HP TET recruitment must fulfil the following criteria mentioned to be eligible for the posts released under HP TET.
TGT (Arts)
a) BA./B.Com. with at least 50% marks and 1 year B.Ed. OR
b) B.A./B.Com. with at least 45% marks(Only for those who have passed B.Ed up to 30.08.2009) and 50% marks (for those who have passed B.Ed. after 30.08.2009) 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) in accordance with NCTE (Recognition norms and Procedure) regulations issued from time to time in this regard .

Note: -ll Pass in Urdu Language Teacher Eligibility Test conducted by HP. Board of School Education Dharamshala provided that the incumbents who have already qualified the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by the H.P. Board of School Education Dharmshala shall also be eligible subject to the condition as laid in para-II of guidelines issued by the National Council for Teacher Education vide Notification No. 76- 4/2010/NCTE/Acad. Dated 11.2.2011.

HP TET Selection Process 2022
Candidates eligible for the recruitment will have to give the offline written test and have to score at least 60% marks to qualify. HPBOSE has announced the HPTET result on the official website with the list of candidates who have qualified the examination. The qualified students will be awarded the HPTET certificates based on which they can apply for the Teachers post in various schools across the state. There are no restrictions on the number of attempts. A candidate who has already qualified TET may also appear again to improve his/her score.

The
- The exam will have 150 multiple choice questions that have to be solved in 2.5 hours.
- The HPTET is conducted offline and the answers have to be filled in the OMR-based answer sheet.
