HPPSC HPAS Prelims Final Answer Key, Results and Mains Schedule Released on 7th December 2022! Candidates who have qualified for the HPPSC HPAS 2021 Mains Exam can fill in the online applications for the same by 25th December 2022. The HPPSC HPAS Mains Exam is scheduled from 3rd February 2023 to 11th February 2023. This is in reference to the Himachal Pradesh Administrative Service Combined Competitive Exam 2021. The Prelims for the same was held on 16th October 2022. Through the examination, the commission will recruit candidates for the posts of Himachal Pradesh Administrative Service, Tehsildar, Block Development Officer, & Treasury Officer. The candidates can raise the objections till 25th October 2022 in the provisional answer key released on 17th October 2022 by submitting the form of objections.

6th October 2022: HPPSC Admit card out

15th September 2022: HPPSC HPAS Notification Release, and Exam Dates Out

The HPPSC has released the exam schedule for the HPAS Combined Competitive Examination 2022. The notification for the same will be released in 2nd week of February 2023. The Prelims Exam will be held on 11th June 2023. The Mains Exam and Personality Test will be held in September 2023 and December 2023.

1st August 2022: HPPSC HPAS Exam Dates Out!

The candidates must note that this is in reference to the 2021 cycle which is ongoing and the prelims exam is scheduled for 16th October 2022 for all the posts except the naib tehsildar. The exam of Naib Tehsildar is scheduled on 30th October 2022. Also, the mains exam is tentatively scheduled in second or third week of December. Check out the official notice below.

The applications for the HPPSC HPAS Exam must be submitted online. The last date for application submission was 14th July 2022. Follow the steps mentioned below to apply online.

HPPSC HPAS Eligibility Criteria 2022

All applicants must ensure that they fulfil all the eligibility conditions specified by HPPSC. Applicants who do not meet the eligibility will be disqualified. Check the HPPSC HPAS Eligibility Criteria in the following sub-sections

Nationality

A candidate must be a citizen of India.

HPPSC HPAS Educational Qualifications:

A candidate is supposed to hold a Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent from a recognized University.
A candidate who has appeared for the examination and whose passing will make him qualified for the examination, but has not been told of the result, may apply for admission to the examination.
Applicants who have completed the final professional M.B.B.S. or any other medical examination equivalent thereof, but have not finished their internship at the date of submission of their HAS applications, etc., will be provisionally accepted for the examination provided that they submit, along with their applications, a copy of the university/institution certificate from which they have passed the requisite examination.

Age limit (As on 01-01-2022)

The age limit for the applicants is as mentioned below:

Minimum age: 21 years (Not born born on or after 02-01-2001)
Maximum Age: 35 years (Not born on or before 01-01-1987)

Paper-II (Aptitude Test) is only qualifying in nature. The minimum qualifying marks for the same are 33%.
For each wrong answer, 1/3rd of the marks assigned will be deducted.

The optional subjects for the Mains Examination include Indian History, Political Science and International Relation, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Commerce & Accountancy, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Philosophy, Law, Sociology, Public Administration, Management, Geography, Agriculture, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Hindi, Sanskrit, Urdu, English Literature, Psychology, Geology, Physics, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Anthropology, Forestry, Horticulture & Medical Science.
To qualify the Mains Examination, the candidate must score at least obtains 40% marks in the compulsory papers of Hindi and English and 45% marks in the aggregate (excluding compulsory papers of Hindi & English).
The English and Hindi Papers are only qualifying in nature.

Interview/Personality Test

The HPPSC HPAS Interview/ Personality Test is the final stage of the HPAS test. The viva-voce bears 150 marks. The candidates are expected to be aware of the local folklore of Himachal Pradesh. Local languages, Himachal-centric issues, the socio-economic structure of the state, the tribes of the state, and the likes. The final merit shall be drawn from the marks secured in the main (written) and the viva-voce.
