IB Security Assistant Notification Withdrawn, the notice came on 4th November 2022! The Intelligence Bureau of India (IB) had released the notification for recruitment of candidates to the post of Security Assistant/Executive. A total of 1521 vacancies had been announced. Candidates who have passed class 10th from a recognized board of education were eligible to apply for this post. • The selection of candidates will be on the basis of Objective-type Test, Descriptive Test, and Interview.
• The salary of the finally appointed candidates will be in the pay scale of INR  21700 – INR 69100 (Level-3).

IB Security Assistant Application Process 2022

The applications for IB Security Assistant Recruitment must be submitted online between 5th November to 25th November 2022. The steps to apply online are as follows:

Step 1: Register yourself through the MHA official website or NCS Portal only.

Step 2: After Registration, log in with your credentials to fill the IB Security Assistant/Executive Application Form. Enter all required details and complete the application.

Step 3: Upload the required documents in the prescribed format. You may use PrepForSure's IB Security Assistant Photo & Signature Tool to upload the same.

Step 6: Pay the Online Application fee.

Step 7: Submit the application form. Take a printout of the same for future reference.

The IB Security Assistant Application Fee has 2 components – Examination Fee (INR 50), and Recruitment Processing Charges (INR 450). The details of exemptions in fee payment are as follows.

IB Security Assistant Selection Process 2022 

The selection process for the post of Security Assistant/ Executive at the Intelligence Bureau of India comprises the following 3 stages:

• Tier I – Objective Test
• Tier II – Descriptive Test and Spoken Ability
• Tier III – Interview

IB Security Assistant Eligibility Criteria 2022

Candidates applying for the said post must check the detailed eligibility before submitting their applications. Candidates who do not fulfill the IB Security Assistant Eligibility Criteria will be disqualified.  

Intelligence Bureau Security Assistant Age 

The age of the applicants, as on 25th November 2022, must not be more than 27 years. The age relaxations allowed for the reserved category candidates are as follows:

• SC/ST – 5 years
• OBC – 3 years
• Departmental candidates (served at least 3 years) – 40 years of age
• Widows, divorced women & women judicially separated from
  their husbands & not remarried – 35 years of age (UR), 40 years of age (SC/ST)
• PwD – 10 years
• Meritorious Sportspersons – 5 years

IB Security Assistant Educational Qualification

To be eligible for the post of IB Security Assistant, the applicants must have the following qualifications:

• Completed matriculation (10th) or equivalent from a recognized board of education.
• Proficiency in any one of the local languages/dialects of the region for which she/he has applied.

Relevant field experience is desirable.

The applicants must have domicile certificate of that State against which she/he  has applied.

IB Security Assistant Exam Pattern 2022

The candidates will be appearing for a three-tiered selection process. The IB Security Assistant Exam Pattern for all the three tiers that will mark allotment has been mentioned below.

• The correct response will be awarded 1 mark. 
• There will be a negative marking of ¼ mark for each wrong answer.
• No marks would be awarded for an un-attempted question.
• The qualifying marks for Tier-II are 20 out of 50.

IB Security Assistant Salary 2022 

The IB Security Assistant is a Group C, Non Gazetted post. Candidates appointed to the said post will be entitled to Pay Matrix Level-3 with a pay scale of INR 21700 – INR 69100.

IB Security Assistant Cut Off 2022

The Qualifying Marks in each Tier are different as mentioned below:

Tier I Cut Off

Tier II Cut Off

• This is a qualifying stage.
• The minimum qualifying marks required are 20.

Tier III Cut Off

• There is no cut-off for the Tier-III exam.
