IBPS SO Rajbhasha Adhikari New Notification Out on 31st October 2022!  The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection conducts recruitment for the post of Rajbhasha Adhikari each year. The interested candidates who wish to work as Rajbhasha Adhikari in various banks throughout the country need to crack the IBPS SO Exam. The IBPS has released 25 vacancies this year. The IBPS SO notification 2022 is released and the candidates had applied from 1st November to 21st November 2022.

  • The candidates who apply for the exam are required to undergo three stages namely preliminary exam, main exam, and personal interview.
  • The preliminary, as well as the main exam, will be conducted in online mode. The IBPS SO Rajbhasha Adhikari prelims exam will be held on 24th & 31st December 2022 and mains exam will be held on 29th January 2023.

IBPS SO Rajbhasha Adhikari Apply Online 2022

The interested candidates will be required to submit online applications. The detailed step-wise instructions in order to apply as are follow:

Step 2: Click on ‘New Registration’.

Step 3: Candidates need to fill in all the basic details like name, date of birth, email ID, etc.

Step 4: The applicants shall obtain the provisional registration no. along with a system-generated password.

Step 5: Fill up all the required details and continue filling all the sections by clicking “Save and Next”.

Step 6: Candidates will be required to upload a scanned copy of a colored photograph and signature. The candidates can use the PrepForSure Resize Tool to meet the prescribed guidelines.

Step 7: Proceed to the application fee payment.

Step 8: The candidates need to print or save the finally submitted application form for future reference.

The interested candidates can apply for the IBPS SO Rajbhasha Adhikari Recruitment only if they satisfy the eligibility criteria. This has been defined on the ground of age limit, educational qualification & nationality.

A. IBPS SO Rajbhasha Adhikari Nationality

The candidate must be an Indian national. Candidates can also apply if he/she is either:

  • a subject of Nepal or Bhutan
  • a Tibetan Refugee migrated to India for permanent settlement before 1st January 1962
  • an Indian origin person migrated to India with the intentions of permanent settlement, from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam.

B. IBPS SO Rajbhasha Adhikari Education (As on 21st November 2022)

  • The candidate must have completed Post Graduation in Hindi with English as a subject at the degree (graduation) level OR
  • He/she must possess a Postgraduate degree in Sanskrit with English and Hindi as subjects at the degree (graduation) level.

C. IBPS SO Rajbhasha Adhikari Age Limit (As on 1st November 2022)

The age limit is 20 to 30 years. The upper age limit relaxations are applicable to the following categories:

IBPS SO Rajbhasha Adhikari Selection Process 2022

The applicants will be selected on the basis of performance in three stages namely online preliminary exam, an online main exam, and a personal interview. The candidates clearing respective cut off shall be selected for the next stage. The candidates clearing prelims and mains will be facing an interview worth 100 marks, wherein the minimum qualifying marks shall be 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWBD). In the final merit list, 80% weightage shall be given to the online main exam and the remaining 20% to the interview. Hence the selection process consists of three stages:

  1. Online Preliminary Exam
  2. Online Main Exam
  3. Personal Interview

IBPS SO Rajbhasha Adhikari Exam Pattern 2022

  • The prelims exam shall be objective type and the main exam shall consist of both objective & descriptive questions.
  • Negative marking shall be applicable in both preliminary and main.
  • 1/4th (or 0.25) of the mark assigned to that question will be deducted.
  • No penalty will be given for unattempted questions.

On the day of the exam, the candidates need to carry their admit card, a photo ID proof, and a copy. This admit card will not be made available offline. The aspirants need to download it as soon as it's released on the official website.
