1st November 2022: JSSC PGT Last Date Extended!

JSSC has extended the last date to fill out the application form from 1st November 2022 to 22nd November 2022. Also, the last date to pay the application fees is extended to 24th November 2022, and the last date to upload photo and signature is extended to 27th November 2022. JSSC PGT Application Form 2022

The JSSC PGT Application Form must be submitted online between 8th September 2022 to 22nd November 2022. The steps to apply online are as follows:

Selection Process For JSSC PGT Recruitment 2022

The selection of candidates for JSSC PGT will include the following:

• Computer Based Test (Mains Exam/ JSSC PGTTCE) – 400 marks exam consisting of 2 parts.

Certificates Required for JSSC PGT Document Verification

The JSSC PGT organization asks us to note that being called for document verification isn't a hint towards one's selection. The Document Verification process is simply part of the selection procedure. The mandatory documents/certificates are as follows:

• Original 10th Standard Certificate 
• As per the post of JSSC PGT, mark sheets and original certificates of 12th Standard, Graduation, Post-Graduation, and B-Ed. are required. 
• Original higher qualifications certificates.
• Domicile certificate for Reserved Categories
• Certificate for Physically Handicapped 
• Caste certificate for SC/ST candidates
• Extreme Backward Classes and Backward Classes should present Caste certificates.
• Caste Certificates with a clear indication of the Creamy layer in it.

JSSC PGT Eligibility Criteria 2022

To apply for the JSSC PGT exam, the aspiring candidates must fulfill specific eligibility conditions in terms of educational qualifications and maximum age limit. Check details of the JSSC PGT Eligibility Criteria in the following subsections.

JSSC PGT Educational Qualifications

The applicants must have one of the following qualifications:

• Master's Degree in the relevant subject with minimum 50% aggregate and B.Ed. from a recognized university.
• Master's Degree in the relevant subject with minimum 45% aggregate and B.Ed. from a recognized university.
• Master's Degree in the relevant subject with minimum 50% aggregate and B.Ed./ B.Sc. Ed. from a recognized university.
• Master's Degree in the relevant subject with minimum 55% aggregate and 3 years B.Ed./ M. Ed from a recognized university.

Applicants must note that a relaxation of 5% marks is allowed for SC/ST/PWD candidates.

JSSC PGT Exam Pattern 2022

The JSSC PGTTCE is a single stage exam to shortlist candidates for the post of JSSC PGT. Candidates applying for the same must be aware of the exam pattern and devise their preparation strategy accordingly. Refer to the detailed JSSC PGT Exam Pattern below:

• The examination comprises of two papers- Paper-1 and Paper-2.
• The duration of each paper will be 3 hours.
• Paper 1 is of 100 marks and Paper 2 is of 300 marks.

• Minimum qualifying marks for paper 2 are 50% (45% for SC/ST/PWD candidates).
