JTET Exam 2022

Jharkhand Academic Council is going to release a notification for the Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test (JTET) 2022 soon. JTET certifies candidates to teach at the elementary level in the state of Jharkhand. The application dates will be released soon with a detailed notification. The candidates are advised to apply as soon as possible to avoid server issues.

The Applicants must ensure eligibility criteria before filling the application form
The authorities conduct Paper I and Paper-II. The paper-I examination is for the candidates who wish to teach for the class I-V and the Paper-II examination is conducted for the candidates who wish to teach for VI-VIII.

How to Apply for JTET 2022?

The application can be submitted online. Follow the steps which are mentioned below to apply for the exam.

Step 1: Go through the Official Website to check the application link.

Step 2: Fill in all the mandatory fields like name, address, contact details, educational details, etc.

Step 3: Attach the required document and upload a recent passport size photograph. Upload the required documents as per the prescribed format using the PrepForSure Resize Tool.

Step 4: Pay the required fees and click on the submit button.

Step 5: Download and take a printout of the application form.

JTET Selection Process

The candidates must attend the written/online test.
The written test will be conducted for 150 marks.

JTET Eligibility Criteria

The candidates who wish to apply for the exam must satisfy the eligibility criteria.

Educational Qualification

Below are the post-wise educational qualification details.

JTET- Paper-I (for Primary Stage:Classes I-V)	Senior Secondary or its equivalent) qualified with at least 45 % marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education. OR Senior Secondary or its equivalent) qualified with at least 50%marks and 4-year D Bachelor in Elementary Education. OR Senior Secondary or its equivalent) qualified with at least 50%marks and 2 – year Diploma in Education in Special Education. OR Candidates with BA / B.Sc. with at least 50% marks and a B.Ed degree from a recognized university
JTET- Paper-II (for Elementary/Upper Primary Stage:Classes VI-VIII)	Graduation with 45% marks and passed or appearing in final 2 years D.Ed. OR Graduation Degree with at least 45% marks and B.Ed (with 50%) qualified or appearing. OR Senior secondary with 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) / 4-year BA/ B.Sc.Ed.qualified or appearing. OR B.A. (Education.)/B.Sc.(Education.) / B.Ed. (Special Education) with 50% marks.

JTET Exam Pattern – Paper I

Below is the JTET exam pattern for the candidates wishing to attend the Paper I exam.
