KPSC FDA SDA Vacancy 2021

The candidates should note that the official notification for the concerned posts has not been published yet for the year 2021. However, we are providing essential information regarding the vacancies of the KPSC FDA SDA as per the previous year’s notification. The combined number of vacancies for the KPSC FDA/SDA recruitment was 2401 in the recruitment cycle of 2020. The KPSC has distributed the number of vacancies for each post in two regional categories i.e RPC and HK. Out of 2401 vacancies, 1112 were available for the post of First Division Assistant and the remaining 1289 openings were available for the Second Division Assistant. The highest number of vacancies for both posts are available for the RPC region. The post-wise and region-wise distribution of the vacancies is given in the table below.

The application fee depends on the applicant's category. The application fee for the General/Unreserved category is Rs. 600. The SC/ST candidates are exempted. A. KPSC FDA Selection Process

It is expected that the selection process for the post of First Division Assistant will take place in two stages. The candidates will have to appear for the written examination before facing the final interview. The candidate will have to appear for a total of three papers. It is expected that the candidates may also have to appear for the skill test along with the interview. Hence the selection for the post of FDA will be as follows.

B. KPSC SDA Selection Process

The candidates who will apply for the post of Second Division Assistant will also have to appear for the same type of written examination. The candidates who will successfully clear this examination will appear for document verification. The candidate may also have to face the interview in some cases. In order to apply for this recruitment, a candidate has to satisfy certain rules of eligibility. These rules or criteria are defined in terms of age limit and educational qualification. The applications of the ineligible candidates will be rejected. Each criterion has been discussed below.

KPSC FDA SDA Exam Pattern 2021

Candidates must note that the pattern of examination will be the same for both FDA and SDA. The examination phase will consist of three papers namely, Mandatory Kannada, General English/ General Kannada and, General Knowledge. Candidates will have the choice to choose between General English and General Kannada for the second paper. The duration of each paper will be 90 minutes. All the papers will be objective type except Mandatory Kannada.

The admit card will be released by the KPSC on their online portal approximately a week before the examination.
