KPSC KAS Recruitment Selection Process 2022

• Prelims: The first stage in the selection process for KPSC KAS recruitment is the Prelims exam, which consists of 2 papers of objective-type questions. Candidates who clear the prelims stage will only be eligible for the next exam stage, the Mains.

Applicants in the General category can attempt examinations up to five times, while candidates in the OBC category are qualified till 7 Attempts. The SC/ ST category candidates are not bound in the number of attempts.

For the KPSC KAS Eligibility Stream 1 post, no unique experience is required. But applicants must be active probationers in any government agency for Stream 2 positions. Similarly, applicants must have ended probation in any Cadre for the Stream 3 positions.

The KPSC KAS Exam Syllabus differs based on the exam stage that the candidate is at. All three stages, which are the prelims, mains, and interview test, have different sets of knowledge. KPSC KAS Recruitment Exam Pattern 2022

The KPSC KAS exam takes place in three stages, the first being the prelims, the second being the mains, and the last part of the exam being the interview session with the Karnataka PSC officials. Candidates who clear the prelims stage are only allowed to move further with the selection process.

• The exam consists of 2 papers.

Interview/ Personality Test
