OSSC CGL 2022 Application Dates Extended! Candidates can now apply till 15th December 2022. Earlier, the OSSC CGL CV Dates were out on 29th November 2022 for the 2021 cycle. The CV is tentatively scheduled from 22nd December 2022. The OSSC had recently released the notification for OSSC CGL 2022 cycle. The application process for the same started on 14th November 2022. The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) conducts the Odisha Combined Graduate Level Exam for recruitment to various Group B and Group C State Cadre Posts under the Odisha Government. A total of 1267 vacancies have been announced.
The written test will be of two papers with 100 marks each and this will be conducted n a single sitting.

Interested candidates can apply for the upcoming OSSC CGL Examination 2022 between 11th November 2022 to 10th December 2022. The steps to apply online for the OSSC CGL Exam have been shared below.

OSSC CGL Eligibility Criteria 2022

Aspiring candidates of the OSSC Combined Graduate Level must check all the required eligibility criteria before applying for the Grade “B” and Grade "C" posts. The OSSC CGL Eligibility Criteria for the upcoming exams have been shared below.

Age Limit(As on 01.01.2022)

The minimum and maximum age criteria to apply for the OSSC CGL Exam 2022 has been shared below.

Minimum age: 21 years
Maximum age: 38 years.

Candidates must not be below the age of 21 years and not exceed the age limit of 38 years. Age relaxation will be provided as per govt. rules, i.e., 5 years for the SC/ST/SEBC/Women candidates and 10 years for the PwD candidates.

Educational Qualification

The educational qualification required to apply for the OSSC Combined Graduate Examination has been shared below.

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a government-recognized university or institution.
Must have passed M.E. School Examination with Odia as a subject.
Passed in Odia Language Subject in the final examination of class VIII.
Candidates must have proficiency in computer skills.

Nationality

Only candidates with Indian nationality are eligible to apply for the OSSC CGL Examinations.

OSSC CGL Exam Pattern 2022

For the revised exam pattern for the OSSC CGL Exam 2022 has been shared below. There will be two stages in the exam. Stage-I: Prelims and Stage-II Mains Examination. Candidates need to clear both stages to move forward in the selection process.

Stage I: Preliminary Examination

The OSSC CGL Prelims Exam will consist of only one paper.
The exam will be conducted in a Computer Based Recruitment Examination mode (CBRE).
The questions will be of objective type.
150 questions will be asked for 150 marks.
A negative marking of 0.25 marks will be there.

Stage II: Mains Written Examination

The exam pattern for the main examination has been shared below.

The questions will be short answers and objective type.
There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks.
