OSSC Combined Technical Services Application Process 2022

The applications for the Odisha Combined Technical Services Recruitment Examination must be submitted online. The application window will remain active between 11th November 2022 to 11th December 2022. Below are the steps to apply online.

Step 2. Click on the Registration Link given against the advertisement for OSSC Combined Technical Services Exam.

OSSC Combined Technical Services Eligibility Criteria 2022

Candidates applying for the OSSC Combined Technical Services Recruitment must check the post-specific eligibility criteria prescribed by the authorities. Candidates who do not meet the eligibility criteria will be disqualified. Check details of the same in the following subsections.

OSSC Combined Technical Services Age 

The age of the applicants must be between 18 to 38 years (as of 1st January 2022). The age relaxations allowed for reserved category applicants are as mentioned below.

OSSC Combined Technical Services Qualification

The qualification to be eligible for the OSSC CTSRE will vary according to the post the candidate is applying for. The details of same are as follows

Other than the post-specific qualifications the candidates must have either of the following qualifications:

• Passed Middle School examination with Odia as a language subject;
• Passed Matriculation or equivalent examination with Odia as medium of examination in non – language subject ; or
• Passed in Odia as language subject in the final examination of Class -VII or above
• Passed a test in Odia in Middle English School Standard conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha.

OSSC Combined Technical Services Selection Process 2022

The OSSC Combined Technical Services Recruitment Examination comprises 3 stages. The details of the same are as follows:

• Prelims Examination – 150 marks
• Mains Examination – 200 marks
• Certificate Verification

OSSC Combined Technical Services Prelims Exam Pattern

The OSSC Combined Technical Services Prelims Examination will be an objective-type test. Candidates who qualify the same will be shortlisted for the Mains Examination. Keep in mind the following about the exam pattern for the same.

• The total marks for the Prelims will be 150.
• The exam duration will be 150 minutes.
• There will be negative marking of ¼ marks for each incorrect response.
• All questions asked will be MCQs.

OSSC Combined Technical Services Mains Exam Pattern

The OSSC Combined Technical Services Mains Examination will be an objective-type exam for 200 marks. It will assess the Technical Knowledge of the candidates. The detailed exam pattern for the same will be updated once made available by the authorities.

OSSC Combined Technical Services Syllabus 2022
