The candidates before applying must go through the OSSC Industries Promotion Officer eligibility criteria, which is explained below.

A. Nationality

The applicant must be a citizen of India with the ability to write, speak, and read Odia language.

B. Age Limit

• Maximum Age – 32 years
• Minimum Age – 18 years
• The cut-off date to determine the age limit will be 1st January 2019

• The candidate should possess a B.E/ B. Tech / Diploma in Engineering (any stream).

OSSC Industries Promotion Officer Recruitment Selection Process 2022

The applicant will first have to appear for the Stage 1 written examination. This exam will consist of two separate objective type question papers. The candidates equal to three times the total vacancies will be declared qualified for the next stage according to the order of merit. The next and the last stage will be the Certificate Verification along with Viva-Voce. Hence the overview of the selection process is as follows:

The exam will act as Stage 1 of the selection. It will consist of two papers. Both the papers will be objective type papers.

A. Paper 1

This paper will consist of 100 questions which will be asked for 100 marks. The total duration across all the sections will be 1.5 hours. 

B. Paper 2

The questions in the second paper will be purely based on technical engineering knowledge. A total of 100 questions will be asked for 200 marks. The duration of this paper will also be 1.5 hours.
