OSSC Junior Assistant New  Notification to be released soon! Recently, the final result for the 2021 cycle was released. The OSSC had released the 2021-22 recruitment notification for 140 vacancies. Same number of vacancies are expected to be released for this year too. The OSSC conducts the Junior Assistant Recruitment for eligible candidates. The minimum education qualification required to attend the OSSC Junior Assistant Recruitment Examination is, that the candidate must have passed +3 Arts/ Science/ Commerce or any other qualification which is equivalent to the +3 examination and has proper knowledge of computer skills.

• The candidate needs to undergo 4 stages of the selection process.
• Candidates must note that in the prelims exam, 100 marks of General Awareness were asked.
• To be eligible for the OSSC Junior Assistant Recruitment 2021-22 the candidates had to be between the age limit which was between 21 and 32 years.

The candidates who appeared in the CV for OSSC Junior Assistant 2021 cycle must note that the final results are out. OSSC Junior Assistant Vacancy 2022

The vacancies for the 2022 cycle will be released along with the detailed notification. Earlier, a total number of 140 vacancies had been released by the authorities for the previous cycle. Below are the category-wise vacancy details.

OSSC Junior Assistant Selection Process 2022

The OSSC Junior Assistant selection process is as follows:

1. Preliminary
2. Main Written Examination
3. Computer-based skill test
4. Certificate Verification

Preliminary Examination

• The preliminary examination is qualifying in nature.
• The exam will be conducted for 100 marks.

Written Exam

• The exam will consist of objective type questions.
• There will be a total of 400 questions.
• Each problem will offer 1 mark.
• Negative marking of 0.25 marks will be taken into consideration.
• Time allotted to finish the test will be 6 hours.

Computer Skill Test

The candidate will be given 1 hour to complete the test.

The qualifying marks for the exam is 20.

Eligibility Criteria For OSSC Junior Assistant Recruitment 

Educational Qualification: 

• Candidates must and should be passed in the +3 Arts/Commerce/Science or Intermediate or equivalent examination from any govt recognized board or university to apply for the OSSC Junior Assistant Recruitment 2021.
• The candidates also need to have passed Odia at least up to M.E Standard.

General Eligibility Criteria

A candidate must satisfy the following conditions in order to be eligible for appearing in the OSSC Junior Assistant examination.

1. The candidate must be a citizen of India.
2. The candidate must be able to speak, read & write Odia.
3. The candidate is supposed to be of good moral character & conduct.
4. The candidate must be of good mental condition and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the discharge of his duties in the service.
5. If the candidate is married, must not have more than one spouse living.
6. Candidates must have passed Middle School Examination with Odia as a language subject or have passed High School Certificate Examination or equivalent examination with Odia as a subject/medium of examination in the non-Language subject. or have passed in Odia as a language subject in the final examination of Class VII or above or have passed a test in Odia in M.E. School Standard conducted by the School & Mass Education Department.

How to Download OSSC Junior Assistant Admit Card 2021?

The admit card is a major document for the examination, no relaxation will be given. The Admit card acts as a gateway to the examination. Here are the steps you need to follow to download the Admission Card or the candidates can directly download the OSSC Junior Assistant Admit Card from the Updates section:

Step 1: Go to the official website.

Step 2: Find the candidate login on the home page

Step 3: Fill the login credentials like User Id and Password.

Step 4: Candidates can find the admit card of the examination on candidates’ portals, Click on download admit card to generate your printable admit card.

Certificates/documents to be submitted at the time of certificate verification:

1. Copy of the registered online application form with declaration duly filled in and ink signed at the appropriate place.
2. Self- attested photocopy of HSC Certificate or equivalent certificate and mark sheet issued by the recognized board or council. 
3. Self-attested photocopies of +3 pass certificate and mark sheet.
4. Candidates may submit a Computer proficiency certificate of DCA/PGDCA/ ‘O’ Level/ OS-CIT or any higher qualification in computer knowledge.
5. Candidates of SC/ST/SEBC category shall enclose a self-attested photocopy of a valid caste certificate issued by the competent authority.
6. Candidates have to submit a self-attested Photocopy of the certificate either of passing the HSC examination with Odia as a compulsory subject or in lieu thereof a certificate of passing a language test in Odia of M.E. standard/Class-VII issued by Principal/Headmaster or any other competent authority.
7.  Self-attested photocopies of documents in support of a claim against Ex-servicemen i.e. Discharge certificate, identity Card & P.P.O (Preferred provider organization) issued by the appropriate Authority indicating there in the Date of Entry, Date of Discharge & Period of Service rendered in Defence forces.
