PSTET 2022 Notification to be Out Soon. Recently, the Punjab Education Department has released Punjab ETT Teacher Notification, the applicants must have qualified PSTET examination to attend the selection process. The Punjab State Teachers Eligibility Test 2022 official notification will be announced by the Government of Punjab. The Punjab STET is a state-level based entrance test. The application dates will be announced along with the detailed notification.

  • Candidates must also ensure to pay the requisite examination fee while filling up the application forms.
  • Those candidates who meet the eligibility criteria that are required can go ahead and apply for the examination.
  • The candidates who apply for the exam, and whose applications get selected will have to go through a selection process which will be an online written exam.

4th January 2022: PSTET Answer Key For Paper Out!

PSTET 2021 Answer Key for Paper 2 has been released on January 4, 2022. Candidates can raise objections till 7 January 2022 on the official website. PSTET Result is expected by January 24, 2022. The link to download Answer Key PDF has been shared below.

Punjab STET Apply Online 2022

Candidates who wish to apply for the Punjab TET Exam 2022 have to submit their applications through an online mode. Follow the steps given below to apply for the exam.

Step 1: Click on the link that has been mentioned above. (link expired)

Step 2: Proceed to "New User". Enter the applicant name, email ID, mobile number, and captcha code in order to register. 

Step 3: The candidates can now log in and proceed to the application form.

Step 4: Enter your contact details, personal details, etc., and upload the scanned copies of the photograph and signature. The candidates can use the PrepForSure Resize Tool.

Step 5: Before submitting the application, check if all details are correctly mentioned.

Step 6: Click on the submit button and also take a copy of the application form for further reference.

Note: No applications will be accepted by the board after the last date of application.

Punjab STET Application Fee 

The candidates who will be filling in the application form and submitting it, have to ensure they pay the required application fee. The application fee will vary depending on the category of the candidate. The fees can be paid only through an online mode (Debit/Credit Card/NetBanking). The details are as follows.

Punjab STET Selection Process 2022

The selection process Punjab STET has just 1 stage – Written test. Paper I will be for teaching aspirants who are targeting classes I-V while Paper-II will be for the teachers who are targeting Classes VI-VIII. 

  • The PSTET test is divided into two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2. In both examinations, there are 150 MCQs worth one mark each. The paper is worth a total of 150 marks. The Punjab STET exam has no negative marking.
  • The PSEB publishes the PSTET result on the exam's official website. Candidates who achieve a minimum of 60% on the written test are pronounced qualified.

PSTET Minimum Qualifying Marks 2022

Candidates must get minimum qualifying marks in order to pass the papers. Candidates will be contacted for document verification if they score the PSTET Minimum Qualifying Marks in the written exam. The PSTET certificate will be delivered to the candidates once the process is completed. The PSTET Minimum Qualifying Marks vary for each candidate depending upon their category. Punjab STET Eligibility Criteria 2022 (Expected)

Paper I Eligibility/ Class I-V Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should fulfill at least one of the PSTET Eligibility criteria mentioned below:

  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)*.
  • Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

Paper II Eligibility/ Class VI-VIII Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should fulfill at least one out of all the Eligibility criteria mentioned below:

  • Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
  • Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
  • Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passing or appearing in the final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passing or appearing in the final year of 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A. Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
  • Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education)*.

PSTET Exam Pattern 2022 (Expected)

The PSTET Exam Pattern for classes I-V and Vi-VIII are given in the table below. Both the primary & upper primary papers will be of 150 marks in total.
