  • The list of candidates found medically unfit for the Station Master post after the medical examination conducted at Railway Hospital, Ambala Cantt & Delhi was released on 10th November 2022 and now the 2nd round of DV & Medical Examination will be conducted on 21st November 2022. 
  • Candidates can re-appeal for the medical examination by 9th December 2022 against a fee of INR. 1000. 
  • RRB NTPC typing test results for various posts were announced on 2nd November 2022.

17th November 2022: RRB NTPC Tentative Empanelment Schedule & 2nd Round of DV & Medical Examination for Medically Unfit Candidates of Station Master Post Released!

RRB has released the tentative schedule for DV, Medical Examination, and Results for different levels of RRB NTPC. Along with this, the candidates who were declared medically unfit for the Station Master post and have re-appealed for the same, will be having their 2nd round of DV & Medical Examination on 21st November 2022. 10th November 2022: RRB NTPC Station Master Medical Station Notice Released!

The notice released by RRB NTPC on 9th November 2022 is with reference to the candidates who appeared for the document verification between 17th October- 20th October and on 27th October 2022 and have been found medically unfit as per the medical reports received. Candidates can re-appeal for the medical examination till 9th December 2022 against a DD of INR. 1000 and other documents that has been shared below in the PDF.

The final results for the RRB NTPC Chennai Region have been announced on the official website. CBAT was held on 30th July 2022 and verification of Documents was held from 26th September 2022 to 30th September 2022 and on 10th October 2022.

21st September 2022: RRB NTPC DV Schedule Released

RRB NTPC Eligibility Criteria 2022

Those of you who want to apply for the RRB NTPC Recruitment exam 2019-2022 should go through the below-given RRB NTPC Eligibility Criteria to know whether they fulfill the required eligibility or not. 

Nationality

The candidates who wish to apply for the RRB NTPC exam must have either of the following nationality,

  1. A Citizen of India, or
  2. A Subject of Nepal, or
  3. A Subject of Bhutan, or
  4. A Tibetan refugee in India (migrated before 1st January 1962) with the intention of permanent settlement in the country.

You can apply for the RRB NTPC Exam 2022 for the given posts through online mode. RRBs will activate the online application link on the official website. Follow the below-given steps carefully to avoid any mistakes while filling the online application form. 

Step 1: Click on the link given above direct link and select the Zone you are willing to apply for.

Step 2: Now click on the link showing New Registration.

Step 3: From the drop-down select the Zone for which you want to apply for.

Step 4: Fill in your Education Qualification details, Community and Bench-mark Disability details. And click on the check availability link option that will show you the post-wise vacancies against the zone you are applying for. Proceed to click on the Apply button 

Step 5: Now, enter all the details in the RRB NTPC Application form

Step 6: Click on the button which shows Click to Continue.

Step 7: You will be asked to confirm the details you filled in or to edit them in case you have entered any wrong information. Review the details carefully and click on the confirm button after you have verified all the details.

Step 8: After this step, you will receive an OTP on your registered Mail ID and Phone Number. Enter the OTP and Captcha carefully then click on Submit.

Step 9: Login again using your registration details.

Step 10: Select the mode of payment and then proceed to pay via Internet Banking/Credit/Debit Card.

Step 11: After successful payment, you will be redirected to the online application page, where you have to fill your preference for the available posts.

Step 12: Upload your photograph, signature, and certificate of reservation (if applicable) and then submit your application. 

Step 13: Take a print out of the same for your future reference.

Your RRB NTPC application process is not complete unless you fill the required application fee. The RRB NTPC Recruitment Application fee is different for all categories as given below.

  • UR – Rs.500/-
  • SC/ST/Ex-servicemen/Female, PwD/Transgender, Economically Backward class and Minorities – Rs.250/-

Note: RRB will refund the amount of Rs.400 on appearing in 1st Stage CBT for UR candidates. While for candidates belonging to SC/ST, Ex-Servicemen, PwBDs, Female, Transgender, Minorities & Economically Backward Class, an amount of Rs.250 will be refunded duly only deducting bank charges on appearing in 1st stage Computer Based Test.

Typing Skill Test (TST)

RRB will conduct the typing skill test for the posts such as Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist, Senior Time Keeper, Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist and Junior Time Keeper. 

  • The Typing Skill Test will be qualifying in nature ie. marks obtained in typing skill test shall not be considered for making the merit list.
  • The candidates have to type 30 words per minute (WPM) in English or 25 WPM in Hindi on Personal Computer only without editing tools and spell check facility.

Document Verification (DV)

  • Qualified candidates based on the performance in both 2nd Stage CBT and CBAT(computer-based aptitude test/TST (as applicable), will be called for Document Verification as per their merit and options.

RRB NTPC Syllabus for Stage I CBT

A total number of 100 questions will be asked in the Stage I exam of RRB NTPC. The RRB NTPC Syllabus CBT Stage I exam is given below. CBT The Questions will be of objective type with multiple choices and are likely to include questions pertaining to:

1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT) – Common for all notified posts of this CEN 01/2019.

Following is the exam pattern for 1st stage. Note the no. of questions from each subject, total number of questions and exam duration. Ensure that you are well aware of the CBT-1 paper pattern before planning an exam strategy.

Document Verification (DV):

  • Qualified candidates of 2nd Stage CBT and based on the performance of candidates in both 2nd Stage CBT and CBAT (Computer Based Aptitude Test )/TST(Typing Skill Test) (as applicable), candidates equal to the number of vacancies will be called for Document Verification as per their merit and options.
  • In addition, candidates equal to 50% of the number of vacancies for various posts will also be called for document verification.

RRB NTPC 2022 Exam Day Guidelines

  • Electronic items and gadgets like mobile phones, blue tooth, pen drive, laptops, calculators, wristwatches, etc are not allowed inside the exam center.
  • Candidates must avoid items like Pen, pencil, wallet/purses, belts, shoes, and ornaments, etc.
  • Remember to carry RRB NTPC admit card 2022 with you while appearing for the exam
  • Remember to carry photo-identity proof like Voter Card, Aadhaar Card, printout of e-Aadhaar (not Xerox copy of Aadhaar), Driving License, PAN card, Passport, Identity Card issued by the employer, College / University Photo ID card
  • Candidates must also bring one color photograph
  • Candidates must wear a mask.
  • Social distancing will be followed at the exam center
