SSC JE EE Selection Process 2022
The selection procedure of SSC Junior Engineer (Electrical) consists of 2 stages as mentioned below:
- Stage 1 is Paper 1 which is computer-baste and objective type.
- The overall weightage of Paper 1 is 200 marks.
- Stage 2 is Paper 2 which is a descriptive type written exam for 300 marks.
- There will also be a document verification and a medical examination.

Candidates applying for this recruitment must be familiar with the SSC JE Electrical exam pattern, as this would help them prepare well and improve the chances of scoring better.
- The exam comprises 2 sections- Paper 1, Paper 2
- In Paper 1 will be a computer-based test with objective type questions.
- In Paper 1 there will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.
- Paper 2 will be descriptive and will be conducted in pen and paper mode.
- A candidate will be allowed to bring his/her own slide rule, calculator, log table and steam table for Paper 2.
