TCS NQT Recruitment 2023: The National Qualifier Test (Cognitive Skills) is a General Ability Test to test candidates in areas such as Verbal ability, reasoning ability, and numerical ability. TCS, along with other major corporate players will be hiring freshers through the TCS NQT Recruitment process. Candidates who will be graduating with a B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech/M.C.A/M.Sc is eligible for this recruitment.

The last date to apply for the TCS NQT is 15th January 2023.
The selection process includes a test and an interview (Ninja/Digital)

TCS National Qualifier Test (TCS NQT) is an assessment of various levels to test candidates on core cognitive processes required for entry-level jobs, industry knowledge and skills and specializations in the desired fields.

NQT (Cognitive Skills) Score: to measure cognitive skills in verbal, numerical and reasoning abilities
Attitudinal Alignment NQT (Psychometric Test) Score: to assess personality traits and dispositions in the workplace
Industry NQT Score: to measure the understanding of industry-specific dimensions
Subject NQT Score: to measure role-specific skills on the dimensions of knowledge and ability

TCS NQT Exam: About the Test

NQT (Cognitive Skills) is a prerequisite for all the TCS NQT tests.
All NQT Variants score cards are valid for two years.
The test will be conducted online as well as in-centre at TCS iON Authorised Exam Centres
Candidates will be allowed to apply for multiple attempts to improve their NQT Score. (Only the Best Score will be published for Candidates applying using the same NQT registration number)
Candidates with NQT Score can apply for jobs on the TCS iON Job Listing Platform.

The process from applying for the test until getting a job mainly involves five steps:

TCS NQT Registration

The registration for TCS NQT exam is quite easy. The steps given below will guide you through.

Step 1: Log on to the TCS Next Step Portal

Step 2: Register yourself first and apply to the TCS Recruitment process using PrepForSure Cropping Tool.

If you registered already, login and proceed to complete the application form. Click on “Apply For Drive” after submission.

If you are a new user, click on Register Now, choose the category as “IT” and proceed to fill your details in the application form. Submit and click on “Apply For Drive''.

Step 3: You will then need to select your mode of test i.e., In-Centre or Remote and click on Apply

Step 4: To confirm your application status, check "Track Your Application" that would reflect as "Applied for Drive".

Total duration of the exam will be 180 minutes (03 hours).
The online test includes two sections – Cognitive skills & Programming.

If you have opted for Online Remote Proctored Assessment, you will receive the login

Credentials for the NQT on your registered email ID two days prior to the assessment.

If you have opted for "In-Centre” mode of Assessment you will receive the TCS NQT Hall Ticket on your registered email ID 2 days prior to the assessment. You need to download and carry the hard copy of it to the exam centre.
