4th July 2022: Telangana Police SI Prelims Exam and Admit Card Download Dates Announced!

Telangana Police Recruitment Exam Pattern

Preliminary Test (PT) (For all posts)

• Objective Type Questions.
• Questions in English, Telugu, and Urdu.
• Minimum Marks to qualify are 40% for OC, 35% for BC, and 30% for SC/ST/Ex-servicemen.

Final Written Examination

Physical Efficiency Test and Physical Measurement

Candidates who have successfully qualified for the Prelims written examination shall undergo the Physical Efficiency Test. 

(i.) 1600 Metres/ 800 Metres 

Male candidates must compete for 1600 meters in 7 minutes. 15 seconds. For servicemen, it is 9 minutes 30 seconds. The female candidates must compete for 800 meters in 5 minutes and 20 seconds. 

(ii.) Long Jump/ Shot Put Events

Candidates who are qualified for Physical Measurements must undergo the following parameters:

Physical Standards

(i.) Physical Measurements: Candidates, who qualify in the above Run event, should meet the following requirements: 

• Men: Height: Must not be less than 162 Centimeters (for Post Codes 34, 35, 36) 

• Women: Height: Must not be less than 152.5 Centimeters (for Post Code 34)

(ii.) Provided that, the Candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes and Aboriginal Tribes in the Agency areas of Adilabad, Komarambheem-Asifabad, Mancherial, Nagarkurnool, Khammam, Bhadradri-Kothagudem, Mulugu, Mahabubabad, and Warangal Districts should meet the following requirements: 

• Men: Height: Must not be less than 160 Centimeters (for Post Codes 34, 35, 36) 

• Women: Height: Must not be less than 150 Centimeters (for Post Code 34)

Intimidation Letter 

The candidates who qualify for the Physical Efficiency Test will be issued a Hall ticket for appearing in the Final Written Examinations. Candidates should bring the Telangana Police Constable Admit Card which consists of various details like- venue, date, and time. 

Final Written Examination- 

Candidates who qualify in the above Physical Efficiency Test shall be required to appear for Final Written Examination. One paper will be of 3 hours duration.
