The UPMRC has released 100 vacancies for the post of maintainer under UPMRC Maintainer Recruitment. These seats have been categorized into three types. Step 4: Candidates need to upload a scanned copy of a color passport size photo as well as signature. They should note that the size of the image should be 80kb or less than it.

UPMRC Application Fee

After filling the application form, applicants will have to pay a certain amount as processing fees. The application fees as per applicants category has been given below.

Applicants can pay these fees via two modes:

• Online fee payment: The application fee can be paid with the help of a debit, credit card or net banking of any bank. The payment should strictly take place through SBI payment gateway.
• Offline Payment: Candidates need to download the preprint challan form for depositing application fee and make the cash payment in any branch of State Bank of India.
• Application fee once paid shall not be refunded back.
• Demand Drafts/Cheques/Money Orders/Postal Orders/Pay orders shall not be accepted.

UPMRC Maintainer Selection Process 2021

The selection procedure for the post of Maintainer (all three categories) will happen in two stages as mentioned below:

1. Stage 1- Written Examination: This is the very first stage conducted by the UPMRC. In this candidates will have to attempt an examination of 100 marks. The duration of the examination will be 2 hours.
2. Stage 2: Medical Examination: Candidates who qualify the first stage will have to undergo a medical examination to meet the medical standards of the railway. Applicants who have undergone lasik surgery shall be disqualified from the process.

UPMRC Maintainer Exam Pattern 2021

As mentioned in the UPMRC Maintainer notification, the UPMCR Maintainer’s examination will consist of two stages. First will be the written stage which will then be followed by document verification and medical examination. Candidates need to qualify both these stages to be recruited. Stage 1 – Written Exam Pattern 2021

The UPMRC Maintainer examination is an objective test that will be conducted online. This examination will be available in two languages: Hindi and English. The duration of this examination will be 2 hours. The highest marks for the exam will be 100. The UPMRC Maintainer exam consists of the following sections:

• There will be negative marking for wrong answers in the objective test. ⅓ of the mark will be deducted from the assigned mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

Stage 2- Medical Examination

UPMRC Training and Surety Bond

• For a minimum period of three months, candidates selected for the maintainer’s position will have to execute a surety bond of Rs.75,000/- plus GST.
